Plant Fair at Duncombe Park

DUNCOMBE PARK WELCOMES THE RETURN OF SPECIALIST PLANT FAIR IN THE GROUNDS OF ITS MAGNIFICENT STATELY HOME AND GARDENS

Duncombe Park is the only stately home in the North York Moors National Park. For over 60 years it was a school but since 1986 Lord and Lady Feversham have undertaken extensive restoration of the buildings and interiors, employing the finest craftsmen to create a home again for their family who are direct descendants of Thomas Duncombe.

Following on from a successful plant fair in May, the grounds of this magnificent house will once again come alive with 17 of the best independent nurseries from all corners of the North. Visitors to the Flower Power Fair on Sunday 27th September will not only be able to buy a wide range of unusual autumn plants and shrubs but also will get useful advice direct from the growers themselves. There will even be Premier and Gold Medal winners from the recent Harrogate Autumn Flower Show on hand to share their secrets!

Duncombe Park itself offers grand interiors and fine family paintings and a unique 35 acre 18th Century landscaped garden with terraces, lawns, superb trees, temples and stunning views. A 400 acre park with country walks, a parkland centre, licensed tearooms and nature reserve completes what will be a unique and fascinating day out for everyone.
