Plant Fairs

We love plant fairs, all sorts of interesting plants, lots of hardy plants, some rare plants and some interesting challenges, a great source of expert advice as well.

July event:
Sunday 5 July: Jodrell Bank Summer Plant Fair, Nr Macclesfield, Cheshire
Entry £2.00. Open 10-4

August events:
Sunday 16 August: Heaton Park Summer Plant Fair, Manchester. Entry £2.00. Open 10-4

Sunday 23 August: Newburgh Priory Summer Plant Fair, Coxwold, Thirsk, N Yorks. Entry £2.50 (includes 40 acres of gardens and grounds), Open 10-4

Bank Holiday Monday 31 August: Ripley Castle Specialist Plant Fair, Ripley, Nr Harrogate, N Yorks Entry £2.00 (free entry to the Castle gardens) Open 10-4.

Garden Shows, Sundials and Lilac

The Chelsea Flower show is over, we thought it was a great event as usual, although crowded as usual.

And no, the image (left) is not from the Chelsea flower show, its  all the way from Australia, from the Melbourne Flower show.
